BIOL 3333
Environmental Biology
This course is an introduction to the major concepts governing environmental biology and covers ecological principles, biodiversity issues, human impacts on ecological systems and practical guidelines for the responsible stewardship of biological resources.
BIOL 3333 is a core course for undergraduate ENSC majors in all four concentration areas and is an elective course for undergraduate BIOL majors. As such, the course designed for science majors and assumes third-year college-level knowledge of basic scientific principles. Non-majors are welcome in the course, provided they have some lower-level science in their background.
BIOL 3333 is offered every spring and fall semester.
