Dr. Kwok-Bun Yue is a Professor of Computer Science and Computer Information Systems and the chairperson of Computer Science.

Dr. Yue has received several top level teaching and fellowship awards at UHCL. He has received several grants from National Science Foundation and the Department of Defense. He has consulted for several companies, including Web startups. His current research interest is in Internet computing and semi-structured data.

Yue received his B.Sc. and M.Phil. degrees in Physics from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from the University of North Texas.
