![]() Dr. Sadegh Davari
Dr. Sadegh Davari is Professor of Computer Science and Software Engineering and the Chair of the Division of Computing and Mathematics within the School of Science and Computer Engineering. Dr. Davari has more than 20 years of research and instruction in operating systems, real-time systems, real-time networks, concurrent programming, software safety and software fault tolerance. He has over 20 refereed publications. He is the reviewer of several conferences and Journals. He has received 24 research grants (9 internal and 15 external). He has supervised 14 master thesis to completion. He has taught 5 different undergraduate level courses and 7 different graduate level courses. Among other distinguished recognition and awards, Dr. Davari is the co-inventor of a patent on bandwidth allocation for token ring networks and the author of the best paper award of the 12th IEEE International Conference on Distributed Computing Systems held in Yokohama, Japan, in June 1992. He has received UHCL President's Distinguished Teaching Award. |
