Dr. Gary D. Boetticher has over 17 years of corporate experience and over 12 years of academic experience. He has owned several companies and consulted for Fortune 500 companies in the Telecommunications, Financial, and Government sectors. He has served as an executive member of the IEEE software engineering standards committee.

Dr. Boetticher is an Associate Professor of software engineering and computer science at the University of Houston - Clear Lake. His research interests include Data Mining and Machine Learning; Computational Bioinformatics; and Software Metrics.

He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Delaware, M.S. in Information Systems from West Virginia University at the College of Graduate Studies, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from West Virginia University.
