The program offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science based on a balanced curriculum of solid foundation in computer science and practical industrial technologies. The degree is aimed to prepare students to quickly be productive in their computing careers while acquiring the necessary foundation for life long learning in the rapidly changing computing professional landscape.

Dr. Yang workingThe program requires students to take computer science groundwork courses such as data structure, software engineering, operating systems, design of database systems, discrete mathematics and computer architecture. It also offers elective courses covering and using industrial strength leading edge technologies, such as Java, J2EE, Web technologies, E-Commerce, C# and .NET, UML, design patterns, etc. To find out more about the program, you may visit the Web pages on program objectives and curriculum.

The program also provides a senior level project course to Computer Science majors. Students work in teams on real world projects to acquire valuable practical experience to launch their career.
