UHCL Panelists in JSC Celebration of 40th Anniversay of Lunar Landing

To many people here, lunar landing was one of the most exciting moments in US history, epitomizing the spirit of exploring unlimited frontiers and optimistic opportunities. Johnson Space Center is throwing a big celebration of 40th anniversary of lunar landing this month.
A major feature is the three day event "Telling the Stories of Apollo: A Conversation with Apollo Managers," to be held on July 20th, 22nd and 24th: http://www.nasa.gov/centers/johnson/events/apollo40yrs_conversation.html. Its description says:
"Travel back in time ... watch and learn about NASA's Apollo program from the managers and engineers who helped make it all happen. Each day, starting at 11 a.m. two films from the six part Discovery Channel documentary "Moon Machines" will be shown along with Apollo-era panelist discussions and audience Q&A. "
Registration is free and seating is limited.
We are honored that two panelists will be from UHCL. Mr. Jerry Goodman, an adjunct professor in the systems engineering program, will be a panelist on the “Command Module” session on July 20, and yes, our own Ms. Jeanne Leslie will be a panelist on the “Navigation Computer” session on July 22.
If you want to learn more about the Apollo program, this is a great opportunity.
