Free English Communications Workshop is fun!

April 18, 2008 | Posted by Bun Yue

Readers of this blog know that the UHCL NSF Scholar Organization had organized three successful English Communications Workshops in the past. You can read about them here. It is now back. Dr. Chrstine Paul of the UHCL foreign language institute will host another English communications workshop in May from May 13th to 16th (Tuesday to Friday) at UHCL Bayou Building 1235, 1:30-4:30PM for a total of 12 hours total.

I attended selected sessions of the first two workshops and had much fun playing games with other participants. It was a good opportunity to meet other people with different life stories and see how each of us communicated.

The workshop is free to our students. It should be especially interesting to international students who also want to know more about the American culture.

Information and registration and be obtained from UHCL Bayou Room 1618. You may also call 281-283-3033, email paul@uhcl.edu, or go to http://www.uhcl.edu/fl. Seats are limited to 20 in a first come first served basis.
