Job Opening (contracts at NASA)

In the next few weeks we are anticipating one or more new tasks in one of our contracts at NASA. Duties will initially focus on web pages (XHTML 1.0 Strict, CSS, Section 508 / LIFT compliance) and may involve skills related to ASP (old school 3.0 and possibly inheritance of some .NET) as well as XML.

Once the initial task(s) are taken care of, ongoing duties would likely expand into more of our core focus areas, which are more focused on JEE (.jsp, .java/.class, bean development) and SQL server. A few of our tools are in-house created AJAX solutions, so that may also be an area to grow in if interested.

Occasionally tasks in other NASA contracts come up, so there are often other opportunities available for employees to shuffle around some within 3D modeling / simulation creation, MCC support software, even a couple of on-board RMS applications for station and shuttle.

At this time, with new requirements for badging at NASA with respect to HSPD-12 (Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12), we would need the person to either have a green card or be some form of citizen, as this work would primarily be carried out on-site at NASA.

If you are know someone who is interested, please have them send me an updated resume and any comments or questions.

Sincerely,

Stuart S. Engelhardt
